seesaw: studio sneak peek.

[photo above: inspiration wall + the intern's desk]

Finally, a few photos of SeeSaw's office space. It's a work in progress, but we're pretty happy with it considering what we started with when we first moved in.

[we sit side by side in our space... it works for our collaborative environment, plus we all love being able to face the floor-to-ceiling windows.]

[in the conference room. we only recently decided to be brave enough to keep our vintage mannequin out for client meetings. or atleast some client meetings...]

[conference room table plus the new shelving unit we built. still working on styling the shelves.]

[the result of our crazy taping and super light grey paint on a large wall]

For those of you wondering, our letterpress workspace is separate from this studio. We're on the second floor (of a cool mid-century building we love) so our large full-size presses that weigh a couple tons would probably come crashing through the floor. Eventually we hope to be in a space where we can combine both -- and a storefront as well!

p.s. SeeSaw is in the paper today. Here's the article about us for the Big Brain awards... thank you New Times! We're honored to be among such great company.

  30. I remember when I was visiting my sister's office, I was amazed with their meeting space. Washington DC offices are so much different from the traditional work place. I can't even compare the design and features of our office in LA. Our working stations are just plain and boring. I was so impressed that in Washington DC, meeting rooms provide services for productive conferences and trainings, using the latest trend in communication technology like web, audio and video conferencing. In addition, they also have on-site administrative support. I believe that in order to improve the task force's productivity and morale, management should consider creating a friendly and convenient work space atmosphere.

Oh, and I think your office looks brilliant. Very organized, too! Kudos!

  32. Love it! I want to make this as one of my inspirations in renovating my home office. Can this kind of design be applied to bigger companies? Maybe our office spaces in Charlotte, NC will look more gorgeous and attractive if they will be redesigned.
