happy hideout.

I can see myself laying at peace smack in the middle of this perfect little world.
Happy Weekend All!
Thanks Nordic Design.

bright + sophisticated.

I'd love to transition to a more sophisticated look in my home. These spaces from interior designer Tamara Kaye Honey (photographed by Teri Lyn Fisher) are right up my alley.

living with cacti.

There's a lot of cacti in Arizona, and sometimes I just think it's ugly. But even I'll admit this is pretty awesome: Maurizio Zucchi's home, filled with cacti (and great furniture).

creative flats.

If you're planning a trip to Montreal, Creative Flats is a great source for unique and beautiful apartments available to stay in. But until then, let's just admire the beautiful spaces and wish there was a website like this for every city.

antique brass.

These rooms designed by Gregory Mellor, seen on Two Ellie, are convincing me to stick with brass lighting and hardware throughout my house.

In need of great vintage lighting sources that won't cost thousands... any recommendations?

in its right place.

I've been itching to get creative with leather, lately. I'd also like to fill my closets & cabinets with these lovely leather bins by Gildem.

connecticut cottage.

Ohhh, look at this bright kitchen and dining area in the home of Amie Weitzman. Pretty perfect.

open air.

I'm just coming out of a major-to-me house renovation (diy, of course). One day I dream of gutting a warehouse and ending up with a really unique living space, filled with lots of light.

hidden in the trees.

A treehouse for adults - what's not to love?

Hallie Burton is such a talented photographer. I want to step inside all the interiors in her portfolio.

Loving pretty much everything that comes out of Svensk Tenn.
Josef Frank was kind of a genius.

a peek.

Daydreaming of bright Swedish apartments, found through Hemnet. I've kept that second photo on file because I love the image of DalĂ peeking around the door. (Have you seen Midnight in Paris yet? He might be my favorite part.)

warm and cheery.

There's a whole lot of pink and red going on in this apartment, and I sorta love it.

window walls.

There are a lot of windows in my new house, and I haven't had time yet to tackle the project of shades or curtains. I love all the natural light pouring in through the day (it only gets a little creepy at night). Anyway, the windows in this space are such a dream. Can you imagine?
