Lovely little tea towels.

Dirty laundry as art: this could make my weekly wash more enjoyable.
Design by Helene Steiner.

I really want one of these litill guys.
Thanks swankdollar.

feeling the need for flowers.

Lately I can't get enough of flowers. I want pretty arrangements in every room of my house (and at the office too, for that matter)... maybe I need to start making a weekly trip to the farmer's market for fresh flowers like Joy does. Do any of you make a habit of bringing fresh flowers inside your home?

For locals, have you been to Camelback Flowershop? I really love that place.

A very nice bicycle shop.

story of my life.

I wish I could say this was true.

Spotted in the office of Chris Rehberger.

measure me.

A cute way to keep track of your little ones growing: the MeasureMe stick by Studio 1a.m. Great use of color and typography, way better than writing on the walls, and you can take it with you when you move.

giant dwarf.

Lovely swatches and felt goods by Giant Dwarf.

modern pooch.

Love these pet dishes from Doca Pet - and Luke Wong's other work, too.

helveticookies.

We're big fans of treats at the office, and I can guess that cookies set in a nice typeface are that much yummier.

Serious Textile obsession.

fanfarlo.

Listening to Fanfarlo today, because I recently heard them and quite liked it. We're always looking for great music; any recommendations?

the next one.

Love him or hate him, Jay-Z's new video is really visually interesting.

Pretty excited for her arrival.

unhappy hipsters.

Even in your company, I feel so alone. (Dwell, September 2009)

He is sad because his house looks like an elementary school. And all the children have died. (Dwell, February 2008)

He tried to focus on the novel, and not how much his bedroom reminded him of a plywood coffin. (Dwell, November 2009)

Unhappy Hipsters: a collection of photos from Dwell along with humorous captions. Hilarious.

(thank you sarah)

bauhaus: workshops for modernity.

The Bauhaus was "the most influential school of avant-garde art, design, and architecture of the twentieth century," and I've always found it fascinating. So of course I really wish I could be in New York to spend hours exploring this Bauhaus exhibition at the MoMa.

See much more here.

seesaw greetings.

Hope your holidays are full of love and laughter. We are taking a blogging break for the Holidays and will be back on January 4th. We have quite a bit planned for 2010 including a new and improved blog.
