Oh wow. Look at this gorgeous 103-year old mansion in Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay. Owned by Henry Wood, the house has 23 rooms, 3 stories, and tons of windows with an incredible view. It's been lovingly restored by family and friends. I'd like to visit.

furniture finds.

I was reading this Chicago house tour on Nesting. Photographer Janet Moran "found that Eames rocker in the trash...pristine, just sitting in a dumpster" and the "Saarinen table at the Salvation Army for $30."

What? I hear stories like at all the time. Is Arizona the only place that doesn't have incredible furniture sitting around in dumpsters or on the side of the street? Not fair.

Cool typographic piece by David Aspinall. Look at the cityscape on the bottom (the "scene of the crime" - identity theft).

that sofa.

The hilarious Uncle Beefy just posted this image from the September issue of Domino, which just so happened to be one of my favorites as well.

Not yet brave enough to paint my walls a color so bold, but I really would love that sofa...
