beggarstaff brothers.

We're always inspired by influential designers from the past. Above are two pieces from The Beggarstaff Brothers in England. While together from 1894-1899, they created using a cut paper technique, solid planes of color and hand lettering. Their style influenced illustration of the 1920-1940s and the contemporary poster.

o olive oil - one of the many products I buy because I like the label. And I've noticed that good packaging is usually found on great products, so it works out well for me.

help.

Help is a line of healthcare products designed by Richard Fine who was inspired when shopping for pain relievers for a headache. The experience only made his head hurt more: the ugly packaging screamed out slogans under the neon lights, adding to the confusion. Fine’s response was to create simple packaging out of soft molded paper pulp, designed to be calming. The first two products are “help I have a headache” and “help I’ve cut myself”, tablets and bandages, respectively. (via MocoLoco)

Beautiful. This help, I'm bored page on their site is amusing too.
