seesaw greetings.

Hope your holidays are full of love and laughter. We are taking a blogging break for the Holidays and will be back on January 4th. We have quite a bit planned for 2010 including a new and improved blog.

DIY wreath found over at Pickles (love their blog header) and vintage ornaments found here.

Here's a fun little DIY project for the holiday break: make a pom pom necklace & scarf.

I don't totally understand it (pulleys, ball bearings & counter weights, oh my) but this door by Matharoo Associates is amazing.

something blue.

While we love everything about this wedding, from the colors and styling to the bride's teal Valentino pumps, we're totally obsessed with the dress. Lillian Banderas, an amazing stylist and friend of SeeSaw's, created the bridal gown, bloomers (lined in blue and white polka dots!) and veil.

Lillian is currently taking custom orders by request - email her at lillian.banderas@gmail.com.

colour mania.

Color will always be included on the list of things that make us happy. My favorite color is constantly changing, and often that current color crush is evidenced in the work I create (as appropriate, of course). This book from the folks at Viction:ary seems fascinating; SeeSaw needs a copy.

"Colour Mania brings together an eclectic group of talented designers who have one thing in common: they are artists who simply can't get enough of one particular color - be that red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black or white. This book offers a depth of understanding of individual colors that is unprecedented."

here's lookin at me.

Lately I've been loving the blog Here's lookin at me kid. Amanda's house, which was recently featured here, is great too.

Plus I have a yellow lamp almost just like hers.

Gilt group is my go to for daily fashion inspiration. I don't really wear very much jewelry but that yellow necklace is on my serious list of needs.
