In her work and her home, Kirsten Hermann's Scandinavian sensibilities shine through.

doucette duval.

Doucette Duval's Spring 2010 collection makes me want to call in sick and head to the Shady Dell.

story of my life.

I wish I could say this was true.

Spotted in the office of Chris Rehberger.

sugar warehouse loft.

Among the list of things I love in this 18th century Amsterdam sugar warehouse by UXUS Design: original wooden interiors, gorgeous Italian linen draperies, and just the right amount of industrial details.

aurelie tu.

These felt bowls and table runner by Aurelie Tu are intricate and stunning. Aurelie works with the women at YWCA to make these beautiful handmade pieces. See more and purchase here at Relish. This geometric rug is amazing too.

(Oh and doesn't the runner pictured here remind you of our FLW letterpress print?)

nani IRO.

Love the painterly quality of these stripes and florals from nani IRO's textile collections.

I think about starting a family often.

i love dust.

We are always clicking around looking for constant inspiration. Liking this meat packaging promo from the London based multidisciplinary firm i love dust. Something about the sticker and twine combination never seem to get old.

ink + print.

Currently inspired by this typographic illustration done by byggstudio for the New York Times. It makes me want to ink up a whole bunch of random things and make some prints.

a touch of whimsy.

If I had hours to spare, I'd love to make my own version of Cheri Messerli's paper crane mobile (available for purchase here).

p.s. see her recent home tour on d*s

sunroom workspace.

Great colors in this happy little space by Liz. I love what she did with that desk -- stripped off the paint and covered the top with white paint and rub on poly.

(Also, the paint on her walls is Stonington Gray by Benjamin Moore, which happens to be my favorite color on my own walls. If you're looking for gray paint, it's just right.)

in the shoppe: how does your garden grow?

A few bright blooms in the shoppe in honor of spring and impending summer.

betsy & rob.

SeeSaw recently had the privilege of designing & letterpressing invitations for the wedding of my dear friends Rob and Betsy. I love playing even a small part in a lovely couple's special day.

one fine day.

Tom Palumbo's work almost makes me look forward to summer.

I've fallen in love with all of his wooden art + furniture (and this laptop case - swoon)But I've taken a special liking to these hand sewn lamps.

dottie angel.

I recently discovered dottie angel when she bought this floral tea towel from our vintage shop... and now I spy a pillow (above) using the fabric. Doesn't her house just make you smile?

(all photos by dottie angel)

p.s. Stacey bought a skirt from SeeSaw Vintage and it looks adorable on her. We love seeing our finds in their new homes!

top:
Gorgeous, handcrafted wood frame glasses from Herrlicht. Amazing, right? Pretty sure at $1,000+ they're out of my budget.

bottom:
Lots of nice (and super affordable) options by Warby Parker, plus for every pair they sell another pair is given to someone in need.

flour vintage.

I'm always amazed with the amount of great vintage clothing out there. Flour Clothing (run by a friend who is one of our previous clients) has some lovely dresses currently in stock, like these two above. Isn't that rainbow dress amazing?
