My day to day wardrobe consists of navy and gray with an occasional contrast in pattern with a pop of color. So when I saw this years spring line you bet I felt mildly nutty.

This Cobble Hill apartment in Brooklyn, home to the architects/designers behind Workstead, is a great example of collecting and holding on to things that have a meaningful history. Art and designer furniture passed on from grandparents (jealous), beautiful industrial lighting, an awesome postcard collection, and more.

We've been scrambling to get ready for our joint studio opening tomorrow night with Harrison Hurwitz, but we're finally in the home stretch. Our space is transformed, and everyone is welcome to come say hello between 4 and 8pm.

We needed some visual interest on our office walls... here's a little peek at what's happening right now: crazy taping and painting! Also currently in progress is this plumbing conduit shelving unit we're building on another wall. We'll let you know how it all turns out.

Sometimes I think I would have loved being a designer before the digital age... cutting and pasting, handcrafting every concept. (The thought makes me miss school a little bit.)

I agree with Christina - this spread from the latest Elle Decor featuring Christine d’Ornano's home looks very Domino-esque. That wallpaper is so fun.
