I have really been enjoying amassblog by JP Williams -- particularly this latest post on his experience sitting down with professor and friend Paul Rand. Rand showed him the amazing type book above, which belonged to Jan Tschichold. (Williams also talks a little about Rand's habit of cutting up books, catalogs, etc. used as inspiration for his work).

I also loved this post with the bauhaus letterhead explaining why they write everything in lowercase.
