bauhaus: workshops for modernity.

The Bauhaus was "the most influential school of avant-garde art, design, and architecture of the twentieth century," and I've always found it fascinating. So of course I really wish I could be in New York to spend hours exploring this Bauhaus exhibition at the MoMa.

See much more here.

I visited New York recently and was lucky enough to see this exhibit. It was pretty amazing, and I loved that they had almost every type of art imaginable on display, from architecture, to prints, to paintings from the Bauhaus creators.

I can't remember what blog I first saw this on, but this book was published to coincide with the MoMa exhibit. I'd love to flip through the pages, and I'll be checking the library soon!
