I was reading this Chicago house tour on Nesting. Photographer Janet Moran "found that Eames rocker in the trash...pristine, just sitting in a dumpster" and the "Saarinen table at the Salvation Army for $30."
What? I hear stories like at all the time. Is Arizona the only place that doesn't have incredible furniture sitting around in dumpsters or on the side of the street? Not fair.

seriously. i keep waiting for my turn to find these discarded gems, and i'm thinking the wait isn't ending anytime soon. no, i'm not bitter. not bitter one bit.

i happen upon heaps of furniture on the city streets here but never anything like that, amazing!
I know...same here in Tucson. Must be an Arizona thing. So sad!
