I just learned that the process is called quilling... they have actual guilds for this kind of thing.

Aren't these amazing? Every time I see them I just get excited and want to try it out myself. I think we've definitely got the exacto skills... but to make the swirls of paper so perfectly swirly, and to make perfect little pictures and typography? It must take a lot of work.
