Over the weekend I had quite an interesting experience: I visited some friends of my in-laws who have huge rooms full of taxidermied animals from hunting safaris in Africa and elsewhere. We're talking giant elephants, zebras, giraffes, rhinos, polar bears... it was fascinating, creepy, and honestly a little bit traumatizing.
It got me thinking that I'm grateful my husband isn't a hunter. I think the absolute most animal decor I could ever handle would be a fake zebra rug and maybe some antlers :)

I hear ya'. But suppose I feel a little hypocritical when I'll sit and eat a burger. In the meantime, I kind of like the "ode" to animals in decor. Cardboard deer? Perfect!
we aren't hunters either, but living in the south makes it hard to stay away from.
