gift wrapping & happy weekend.

My favorite part of holiday presents could easily be the wrapping. Last year everything I did was so last-minute, but this year I have to be prepared because I'll be out of town the week before Christmas. I've been thinking that this year I might wrap a few gifts with some of my vintage scarves (because let's face it, I've got a few too many, and I keep buying them).

Any clever and cute wrapping ideas? You could always top off your gift with one of our JOY wood type cards.

Have a good weekend!

Love this idea. It is very similar to Japanese-style furoshiki. xo

This is a lovely idea - and so much less wasteful than traditional wrapping paper!

Hahahaha! I'm probably not the best person to be asking. I never could figure out the art of gift wrapping.

I wish we had Christmas here in Israel too. I have an obsession for gift wraps and I think that this holiday could help me handle in some strange way.
Love your idea!

scarves is such a great idea.

i thought i'd save some money on wrapping paper this year and recycle brown paper bags from the grocery store. turn them inside out and add a ribbon. of course, it works best for smaller items.

Ohhhh, I'd love to get a gift from you if it means it'd be wrapped in one of those scarves. That's a present in and of itself.

and you just bought another one a week or so ago @ Lutheran thrift:-) I actually had thought about decorating the tree with scarves but you are much nicer to give them away on gifts...brilliant!
