OK, having just got back from a little palm springs-area get-a-way and having stayed at the Ace (yes, it is amaaaazing), I must share with you another idea. Desert Hot Springs (15 mins from Palm Springs) and http://www.hopespringsresort.com/. It's a different vibe than the Ace. More relaxing than partying, but seriously great.

we went to the ace this spring and it was awesome!!! so many puppies and babies hanging around the pool, and taco nights on thursdays! you'll love it :)
i want to know where you would shop! i'm heading to the ace this weekend for friends who are eloping, (we're the witnesses). Shhhh!

stayed there and LOVED it. you should really go sometime. we are headed back in August! ride the bikes around town, eat for sure in the cafe. Adult snow cones are a fun treat.....swim and float and bake in the heat.
I want to shoot a wedding here so bad!!!
