up in the air somewhere.
When I saw this post on Truly Smitten, I totally fell in love with Susan Dwyer's work. Her papier-mâché vessels and ceramics have just the right amount of color and are perfectly clean, elegant, and organic all at the same time.

These are lovely. I'm usually all about color, color, color, but looking at things like these makes me want a space in my house that is just as clean and calming as these pieces.
how delicate! beautiful. I posted on a design organization today that you might find interesting. maybe you already know about them.
I just saw her work at the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn, and it was really lovely and delicate up close. Neither you nor Sarah mention this, but that yellow color in the bottom picture is made with melted rubber! The texture is very smooth but completely vivid and opaque.
I know..I am amazed at how she created these with paper!
I love every little bit of it!!
so sweet & delicate.
We saw these at a craft fair and posted about them too! Aren't they great!
