globus organics.
I'm on a health kick right now and loving it*. While I was shopping at my favorite local grocery store (Sprouts Farmers Market), I noticed a lot of really terrible packaging. On the contrary, this cohesive packaging design for Globus Organics is cute and well-done. Love the mix of hand-drawn ink illustrations and a clean aesthetic that lets the product itself shine through.
*101 Cookbooks is a favorite blog resource for healthy recipes. Any other suggestions?

Very cool packaging, but I've never understood why vegetables and fruit need to be packaged in plastic at all! It seems so wasteful, when we could just put them direct into our shopping bags or use paper bags to get them home if we really need to. We'll get there in the end!
These packaging are indeed well done. I adore the hand-drawn ink illustrations!
coquette and dove - totally agree!
actually, i've only seen veggies & fruit packaged at a few places. most everywhere i go they are all piled up and up for grabs to put in your own shopping bag.
We just go a sprouts. I love it. Any suggestions besides unbelievably cheap fruit and veggies?

thanks for all the recommendations everyone!
I would eat beets and butterscotch (ew!) if packaged like this!
Nice to see our swiss "grocery brand: globus" packaging over here :)
to me as a designer, i like the simplicity of it.
I live in Geneva and when they launched this packaging I literally stopped outside the display window and admired for a good 5 minutes - my boyfriend is a packaging designer and did the same. Beautiful!
Yeah, I agree with Coquette and Dove - is there really a need to use plastic packaging? I like the design of the packaging though; I'm a sucker for simple designs on a white background. Somehow, I've always felt that organic food have better packaging design than commercial ones.
This is awesome!
