change is inevitable; growth is intentional.

We have some bittersweet news today. After over four great years of design and blogging at SeeSaw, we have decided to go our separate ways and explore new opportunities. This is a big change, but we're excited for what's in store. We have loved sharing our inspiration here, and will always be grateful for the connections we've made with all of you. A huge thanks to our clients, readers and sponsors for the support over the years.

It's not quite goodbye though! We hope you'll follow each of us in our new adventures (linked below).

seesaw: day trip to arcosanti.

This week, SeeSaw took a day trip to Arcosanti for some creative inspiration. It's an experimental town in the Arizona desert, built to embody Paolo Soleri's concept of arcology - the fusion of architecture with ecology.

We all agreed it was pretty amazing and beautiful. It would be a neat experience to live/work there for a few weeks (they offer various workshops) or even just stay overnight.

Have you visited our shop recently? It's full of cheerful summer colors and great vintage finds.

happy 4th birthday to us.

Today marks 4 years of being in business! We celebrated with these pretty and delicious pastries from Scratch — raspberry cheesecake, triple chocolate mousse, and a lemon meringue tart. One of our presents this year is a new website for our design studio...coming soon (and long overdue).

We owe a big thank you to our clients, friends+family, and of course all our blog readers too. Happy birthday SeeSaw!

giveaway: restyle.

In case you hadn't noticed, we love all things midcentury, including these fun prints. Thanks to our lovely sponsor, Jan, we're giving away a $38 restyle gift certificate to one lucky ready. Want to win? here's how:

- comment on this post, and please leave a way to contact you
- for a second or third entry, just blog/tweet about the giveaway linking back to it, then leave a comment here with a link to where it's posted
- the giveaway ends Friday (5/13) at midnight and the winner will be announced on Monday (5/16)

be our neighbor!

Local friends, are you looking for a studio space? Our building has a few vacancies right now, and we'd love to have some awesome neighbors who are creatively inclined. We're near old town Scottsdale in a mid-century building with big windows. Added bonus: a three minute drive from Fashion Square, Sprinkles, Yogurtland and more :)

If you're interested, email us for additional information at hello{at}seesawdesigns{dot}com.

Have you heard of Parchment Post? We think it's pretty neat, and we're excited that our "Hooray for You" card was chosen to be a part of their spring collection.

Have you visited our vintage shop recently? We've got some new treasures listed, just in time for summer.

lettermarch.

Our former intern Aymie is awesome - she worked for us for a short while and then ran off to NYC to hang out with Swiss Miss and Jessica Hische. (Tiniest bit jealous? Maybe) She's got this awesome month-long project of carving one letter a day, and she's almost done.

Speaking of interns, SeeSaw is looking for a few great creative student designers to help out around the studio. If you're interested, email us at info@seesawdesigns.com.

bs studio & hay.

SeeSaw is undergoing a mild storage update. We have letterpress cards stored randomly through out the office. I have been hunting for boxes for a good portion of the day and finally came across these. Any suggestions for storing A2 cards?

seesaw + simple shoes.

One of the (many) perks of running your own business: no strict dress code. While we love looking fancy when the occasion requires, some days we really just like to be comfortable... I think it helps us focus on our creative process :).

Simple shoes sent each of us our own pair of sneakers to try out. Verdict: we love them! They are so comfy and they have a great selection of styles and colors. As you can see from the photo above, Raquel has already gotten good use out of hers.

Thank you, Molly and Simple!
