sonia delaunay.

Sonia Delaunay (1885-1979) was a textile designer and artist, whose use of geometry and color still inspires me today.

Wishing I could be in New York sometime in the next few months for the Color Moves: Art and Fashion by Sonia Delaunay exhibit.

Thanks so much for this post. Inspired me to learn more of her! LOVE how you gathered and displayed such lovely eyecandy; such juxtaposition of the 20's-30's and the modern abstractism....

so great!

I love those prints. They look so modern to me. Even though you juxtaposed the prints and the old photos, I still did a double-take when I saw that the prints were from so long ago.

Beautiful collage! If you can't make it to New York, there's going to be a catalog with everything in the show.

Do you know the name of the blue textile 3rd down on the right? I'd like to know more about that one. Thanks!
