sonia delaunay.
Sonia Delaunay (1885-1979) was a textile designer and artist, whose use of geometry and color still inspires me today.
Wishing I could be in New York sometime in the next few months for the Color Moves: Art and Fashion by Sonia Delaunay exhibit.

beautiful!
Amazing! love her, learnt about her at fashion school.
Wow - what a beautiful post! So inspiring.
Thanks so much for this post. Inspired me to learn more of her! LOVE how you gathered and displayed such lovely eyecandy; such juxtaposition of the 20's-30's and the modern abstractism....
so great!
really great patterns, love the blue one.
beautiful stuff. gorgeous how you put it together!
I love those prints. They look so modern to me. Even though you juxtaposed the prints and the old photos, I still did a double-take when I saw that the prints were from so long ago.
beautiful! i love the checkerboard-dress.
come out to new york! i'm so excited for the exhibit as well.
She is one of my favorites! Great post.
Beautiful collage! If you can't make it to New York, there's going to be a catalog with everything in the show.
Do you know the name of the blue textile 3rd down on the right? I'd like to know more about that one. Thanks!
